BBQ Beef Sandwiches, Crock Pot Recipe

We made Beef Barbecue Sandwiches and they reminded me of Arby's!
The way the sauce came together it was like Arby's sauce.
This is from the Fix it and Forget it Christmas Cookbook I always rave about.
The recipe will be below. You will have to cook the roast overnight.

1. The night before serving, place the roast in the slow cooker with 1/2 cup water. At this point you might want to season the meat with some salt and pepper and garlic & onion powder for more flavor.
Cook on low 10-12 hours

2.  Also the night before- make the sauce.
(Ketchup, Worcestershire, vinegar, salt, sugar, dry mustard, onion, water)

3. In the morning, shred the beef roast, pour the sauce on top and mix. Heat on low until lunch or suppertime.

We had this on rolls with pickles and chips!
MMMM

Taste of Home offers a very similar recipe too.

This recipe I made is below:

3-4 lb beef roast (bottom round or rump)
1/2 c water

The sauce
1/2 c ketchup
1 1/2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2 Tbsp Vinegar
1 tsp salt
1 Tbsp sugar
1 tsp dry mustard
1 medium onion (it says to finely chop but I left it in rings)
1/2 cup water

1. The night before serving, place the roast in the slow cooker with 1/2 cup water. Cook on low 10-12 hours.

2.  Also the night before- make the sauce with the ingredients listed above.

3. In the morning, shred the beef roast, pour the sauce on top and mix. Heat on low in the slow cooker until lunch or suppertime.
