Mapleside Farm

I had a $25.00 gift certificate to use and I bought something I wouldn't have bought regularly...a $8.50 Carmel, Peanut butter and Chocolate apple!!! Oh, it was SOOO good!! I also got 2 new new mugs (a snowman with it's own spoon and santa)

Then I went to the cake store across the street and got these. =)

Hunter's 6th Birthday

Hunter wanted a Chuck E Cheese cake...from CEC but that was not going to happen, lol so I suggested that I could make him a stand up teddy bear, which he liked he said "OK Ang you can make my cake" and he really liked it when his dad said, "She can make it look like your Darth Vader Build-a-Bear!"

So he wanted a Chocolate cake, no problem. Yeah...I have the Stand-Up Cuddly Bear Cake pan set, and the directions say to use a pound cake/box mix cake mixture. I didn't, and you see the results. (This cake ultimately went to work with me)

So I remake the cake according to the directions.

His leg had a slight tear, nothing frosting won't fix!
So here is the transformation.

So then I needed chocolate cake still and made a chocolate base:

But...he needs a light saber, right? So I went to Mapleside (I'll blog about that later) and I found something to use:

So here is the final cake:

So we leave the party and Hunter tells me, "Hey Ang, thanks for coming, you can come again next year and bake my cake again too!"  Thanks Hunter =) lol

Then he had to pose =)

Very excited for the ICEE maker we got him!! =) Awwwww!

Some of the designs were inspired form my new Wilton Cookie Exchange Book.
