New recipe #7 finds us cooking breakfast for work! It's been cold and I wanted something warm and filling in the mornings. This totally fits the bill.
I made this twice in January. At the beginning of the month and again toward the end. It is super simple. I found this on the blog 5dollardinners.com HERE.
I cut the recipe in half, used normal oats and 2 apples.
Basically you are cooking the oats as normal and adding the apples into the pot after the oats have cooked per the package. You will chop & season the apples as you like them with whatever sweetener you normally use and some lemon juice.
