#4 Air Fryer Pretzel Nugs, 1/14/19

Now with this recipe I kind of mashed a few different web sites together to get them how I wanted. I used this blog: Life a little brighter & Show Me the Yummy

You just slice up some pizza dough, boil in baking soda water for a few minutes then pop them in the air fryer .

The recipe also had homemade dip ideas.

Show me the yummy used can biscuits and didn't have the ratio for baking soda to water, I got the baking soda info from Life a little brighter and how she cut up the pizza dough.

Can Biscuit dough or Pizza dough
Butter (or oil spray/egg wash) for adhering seasonings if using
1/3 c baking soda
Salt, garlic salt or whatever else you want on your pretzel. Maybe you want Cinnamon Sugar...you do you :)

  1. Bring water and baking soda (1/3 cup) to a simmer.
  2. Cut up the pizza dough.
  3. Roll into tight balls.
  4. Place bites into simmering water/baking soda solution and simmer for 2 minutes, do not overfill.
  5. Remove the pretzels bites. Repeat with any remaining pretzel bites.
  6. Brush each pretzel bite with melted butter/oil spray/egg wash and sprinkle with whatever seasonings you want.
  7. Preheat air fryer to 400 degrees F and spray basket with cooking spray.
  8. Working with 12 at a time, air fry for 5 minutes, flip the bites, then air fry for another 4-5 minutes.
