First Snow of the Season =) **recipe**

The starts to the Holiday season was met with a cold snow! =-)
11/26/13

Thanksgiving morning!

We went to Mom's for Thanksgiving.
Q and I were off Friday so we hung out, cleaned and crocheted.

Bobert was in town from Kansas City so I made him, per his request, Oreo Truffles
They DO NOT look like the Kraft ones...they lie...
Also: The recipe says to mix the cookie and cream cheese then dip in chocolate.
NO- LET THEM CHILL FIRST before attempting to dip them or they will fall apart.
I let them chill first. Next time I might use more cream cheese so they are creamier.

36
 OREO Cookies, finely crushed, divided
1
pkg.  (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
4
pkg.  (4 oz. each) BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate, broken into pieces, melted

make it

RESERVE 1/4 cup cookie crumbs. Mix cream cheese and remaining cookie crumbs until blended.  ***I didn't do this***
SHAPE into 48 (1-inch) balls. Dip in melted chocolate; place on waxed paper-covered rimmed baking sheet. Sprinkle with reserved cookie crumbs.
REFRIGERATE 1 hour or until firm.

kraft kitchens tips

HOW TO MELT CHOCOLATE
Place chocolate in microwaveable bowl. Microwave on HIGH 2-1/2 min. or until chocolate is completely melted, stirring every 30 sec.
HOW TO EASILY DIP TRUFFLES
To easily coat truffles with the melted chocolate, add truffles, in batches, to bowl of melted chocolate. Use 2 forks to roll truffles in chocolate until evenly coated. Remove truffles with forks, letting excess chocolate drip back into bowl. Place truffles on prepared baking sheet; let stand until firm.
HOW TO STORE
Store in tightly covered container in refrigerator.

This is what happens when you drink 36oz of water in 2 minutes....

There is a hysterical video that goes with this but I will spare someome the embarrassment....

Saturday morning we cleaned out the bed sheets that someone has chewed holes in
I will attempt to crochet a rug from the remnants...at least the colors match...

Then when Bob was here we ate and watched the OSU vs. _ichigan ga_e.

After that we all got to decorating!!!
It was a fun evening with the three of us and Christmas music!

I hope everyone had a GREAT Thanksgiving!!!!
