Jam

I thought to myself one day- I should learn how to make jam.
So, I did. =)
I made Strawberry Rhubarb Freezer Jam. (From cooks.com)
I wanted to just make a pie, but I figured the jam might last longer.

Cut 2 Cups of sliced rhubarb

Looks like Christmas!

Well, this is actually 4 cups-I usually improvise as I'm going.

1.5 cups of strawberries.  This is a little over 2 cups.



I boiled all of my pots and lids for the full effect.
You can just buy heavy duty plastic containers in the canning section since these are only going to be frozen.
Cook your rhubarb.


Add your 5 cups of sugar.

Add your crushed strawberries.



Fill your jars.

mmmmmm

I put the extra in a gladware container.
