Motorcycles were a hit because they each had their own horn.
You can see they are mashing them down.

Crock Pot Green Bean and Ham soup, with recipe

I have been using my Fix It and Forget It Christmas Cookbook for the last several months as an "inspiration/guide" when cooking.

We had a bunch of fresh Green Beans so I made Ham and Green Bean Soup.
Cooks.com has a similar recipe here, I think the main difference is I used carrots, cream and beef stock (which is in neither recipe)...more on that in a bit.

Here are all of the veggies, prepped the night before for easy crock pot dumping.

Everyone in the pool!!!

Here's the plan:

2 Cups Cubed Ham
32 oz Beef Stock
(the recipes call for water but I wanted more flavor and didn't have ham stock or a ham bone)
3 c. green beans, cut up
2 c. potatoes, cubed
1 onion,
(I cut it in half becaure I don't like the texture of onion)
3 Large carrots, sliced
Some minced garlic
1/4 c. parsley, chopped
1 cup Milk
Salt, Pepper, Garlic Powder and Onion Powder to taste
Combine all ingredient's into the crock pot, except the Milk. Cover and cook on high for 4-6 hours.
After the 4-6 hours is up, turn the crock pot to low, add the Milk, heat through and serve,

I would make it again =). Next time I want to save a ham bone or use ham stock instead of beef stock. Maybe even add some corn to it.

America's Roller Coast, Part 1

I had the opportunity to go to Cedar Point with Mrs Jennifer, her small fries Owen and Amelia, and her Dad Don in August =)
We really couldn't have asked for a more perfect day. Low 70's, Sunny and the park was not over crowded at all.

Enjoy the tour.

Look! There it is!

Where I bought a HUGE mug for work!

Prior to this ride, Jennifer and I rode the Gemini. It was the very first thing we did...and I promptly lost my sunglasses! haha We were waiting for this ride below and she said "Why don't you put your sunglasses on?" .... and I said "Because I must have lost them on the Gemini." HAHAHA
They were in my pocket. They were a cheap pair so it's all good.

Streetsboro High School Rocket Marching Band participated in Medina's Band show
September 13th 2014. It was such a cold night!!!!

We got there 30 minutes before the show started and it was already PACKED. We were seated on the 20, which happened to be directly across from the band!

Quintin is there, I swear. He is the kid in the white pants on the right...

Chicken Bacon Ranch Pasta, with recipe

I got this in an email and knew we had to eat it lol

Ingredients
1 lb chicken breasts*
6 slices of Bacon, cooked and diced*
2 to 3 Cloves of Garlic finelf chopped
1 package of Ranch Dressing mix (1 oz)
1 can of creamy chicken soup (10 oz)
1 cup Sour Cream
pepper to taste
1/2 cup water
8 oz of spaghetti, cooked*

*I am sure I used more chicken, I KNOW I used more bacon and I used a whole box of pasta...not just 8 oz.

Spray 4 qt slow cooker with coking spray, place chicken in cooker
In a bowl mix the remaining ingredients, except the pasta, pour over chicken.
Cover.Cook on low for 6 hours (or high for 3 to 4 hours)
When there is 15 minutes left, make the pasta according to the boxes directions. Unless you want it a little al dente, then cook it  1 or 2 minutes shy of what the box says.
Just before serving, shred the chicken with 2 forks then toss the creamy chicken mixture with the pasta.

It was so good!!! We all ate it up!
I need to add this to the list to make again soon.
My little friend Owen enjoyed it too ;)
