Dog Treats

I figured that the post for today wasn't really food related, so I would post again. I made Dog Treats for Sister-Dog. The recipe says its vegetarian, but I didn't have any Vegetable Bullion cubes...so I used beef and before I put them in the oven I put some garlic powder on them. There are a ton more recipes for me to try on http://www.bullwrinkle.com/Assets/Recipes/Recipes.htm. I hope she enjoys her treats!!

Snow

It's been snowing in Cleveland since Saturday.

My time lapse is definitely not as good as Janet's but I tried hahaha. I have more pics from this morning, I just haven't loaded them yet!  It's still snowing anyway, so maybe I'll get more pics.  It's good to be off from work today. (even tho I still have to go out!)

New Cookie Book

There are some great ideas in here, not only for cookie exchanges, but for your own cookies too!

I can't wait to try them! There is a section that shows you how to make frosting and also cookie recipes.(I think I need to try to make the biscotti soon)  Then some different cut outs and different techniques on how to decorate them. There is also a section for spritz cookies, which is great because I have a spritz press too. (The Cookie Pro Ultra 2 Cookie Press)

I got my new cutters from The Cookie Cutter Shop. There is an Ice Skate, a few Cats, a fleur de lis,  a dog bone (for sister-dog) and one I can't say yet...its a secret. =o)

I got all of the stuff from Michael's to make my first house!! I can't wait!! I got a huge deal on all the stuff too. It was on sale and I had a coupon for 20% off my entire order.

My assistant and I were off on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and we baked cookies and applesauce bread.

My assistant added the glaze.

So, how bad is it that I am on my 2nd-10 lb. bag of sugar, half way thru my 2nd-7 lb. bag of powdered sugar and half way thru my 25 lb bag of flour??
