Mississippi Pot Roast is normally made in the Crock Pot and I thought- I wonder if I can make this in the pressure cooker...and the answer is yes.
If you google this recipe several will populate.
- 3-6 lbs Chuck Roast, cut into chunks
- 3 Tbsp Vegetable Oil
- 3/4 cup Beef Broth, (or water)
- 1 (1 oz) packet Dry Ranch Dressing Mix
- 1 (1 oz) packet Au Jus
- 1/2 - 1 Stick of Butter, unsalted
Brown the meat; Next add broth, AuJu pack, Ranch Pack, and butter.
Close lid, seal and cook on high pressure for 75 minutes. Let naturally release for 10-15 minutes than release the rest of the pressure.
