#21- Bacon cheeseburger pasta skillet, 7/17/18


A few of us have already made this recipe and we all have enjoyed it!








Ingredients
1 1/2
cups uncooked cavatappi pasta
1
lb lean (at least 80%) ground beef
1
teaspoon Montreal steak grill seasoning
1 1/2
cups milk
2
cups sharp shredded Cheddar cheese (8 oz)
1/4
cup ketchup
6
slices bacon, crisply cooked, crumbled 
Chopped fresh parsley leaves, if desired


Steps

    Cook and drain pasta as directed on package.

    Meanwhile, in 12-inch nonstick skillet, cook beef over medium-high heat, stirring frequently, until thoroughly cooked; drain.

    Reduce heat to medium. Stir grill seasoning, milk, cheese and ketchup into beef; continue stirring until cheese is melted and mixture is well blended.

      Stir in pasta and 4 slices crumbled bacon; cook until sauce thickens and mixture is heated through, stirring occasionally.
    • 5
      Sprinkle with    remaining 2 slices crumbled bacon and parsley.
