I had these random pork steaks from a freezer box of meat from the butcher.
They were a bit greasy so I don't know that we would make them again.
Season the meat
Brown it
While the meat is browning add the broth to the baking pan
Add the browned meat and rice
Bake in the oven
Ingredients
6 pork shoulder steaks
2 tablespoons oil
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup uncooked rice
3 1/2 cups chicken broth or stock
1/4 teaspoon poultry seasoning
1/2 cup diced green onions
2 tablespoons oil
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup uncooked rice
3 1/2 cups chicken broth or stock
1/4 teaspoon poultry seasoning
1/2 cup diced green onions
directions
Brown pork steaks in oil; remove from skillet and season with salt and pepper.
